Tranquility Ocean Adventures

After serving more than 30 years in the United States Army Infantry, a career that spanned two wars and multiple combat tours in the Middle East, John transitioned into education earning a master’s degree in special education where he worked with high school students in special education settings for over a decade. Drawing from military service, education, and behavioral health experience, John is passionate about helping veterans and survivors build resilience, connection, and renewed purpose. As a board member, he strongly believes healing often happens through shared mission, meaningful relationships, and experiences beyond traditional clinical settings, including sailing, fishing, diving, and other ocean-based adventures.
